In the 1920's Don Pablo Traverso Master Italian chocolatier immigrated to Mexico from his native Turin, Italy to pursue his dream. He wanted to produce the most select and refined chocolate, using the finest cocoa beans from Mexico. With the acquaintance and backing of Mexican industrialist Don Jesus Penaloza Jimenex they launched Turin chocolates in 1928. Using only the finest and most select materials, these two men would go on to conquer the Mexican chocolate market. Since then Turin Mexican chocolate has been producing world class premium chocolates for eight decades. Their recipes preserve their original Italian heritage, which fusions the best ingredients with the most advanced European state of the art technology.
