In the heart of the county of Lille, there is a delicate sugar and chocolate smell which comes directly from CHOCMOD Chocolate-Makers since 1948. In 1948 the DESTOMBES brothers created the CHOCMOD Company a contraction of CHOColateries MODernes and in 1980 CHOCMOD took the first steps to become international. Bernard and Francis DESTOMBES took over the management of the Company in 1995 and started construction of a new 10,000 square meter production facility. The company now achieves over 40% of total production output through exports; CHOCMOD continues to expand its worldwide presence. In 2002 they established US distribution and in 2008 the company was taken over by Ghislain Lesaffre and Antoine Fortin. Today Chocmod has a presence in 45 countries on 5 continents. CHOCMOD today is commited to superb quality and continues to expand its product line and global reach. Year after year they continue to come up with new and exciting products which stir-up world attention.
