Elsa's Story
Elsa’s Story created a new category within the mass production biscuit market called Home Style. By combining sophisticated techniques of dough processing,
laminating and molding to imitate manual work, Elas’s Story creates a new approach to cookies and homemade pastries.
Just like when Elsa’s Story started her small family bakery, their production techniques today are still based on home baking methods,
with recipes that are taken from her home cook books and all natural home ingredients. Elsa’s Story’s concept is based on homemade quality,
including the look and taste of their products. Elas’s Story “Homemade” philosophy is to make our cookies and cakes just the way they are made at home.
We are conscientious about maintaining the special quality of our cakes and believe in uncompromising standards to help us fulfill that commitment.
Who is Elsa, she is a woman, the same as the woman we used to know and love, with her kitchen always open and with a fresh new batch of homemade cookies served daily.
Elsa’s Story takes you back to a time when you were young and carefree and when tastes were simple. It is about memory, nostalgia,
captured in scents and tastes of warm cookies baking in a home oven, with open windows and doors during a summer day. Today Elsa’s Story controls over 60% of the premium biscuit market in Israel,
15% of the cake market and exports to over 15 countries including the United States, Canada, Russia, UK, Germany, Australia and more. Elsa’s Story is located in Nahariya,
Israel. It is privately owned by two families, the Wertheimer and The Zohar families.
